Shamsa Hazeem Al Muhairi

Shamsa Hazeim Al Muhairi was an active member of the Abu Dhabi Women Development Association and created awareness on the importance of women’s education and other social problems facing today’s community. She also launched a health program in the Emirate in cooperation with UNICEF. Additionally, she was a key member in the establishment of the UAE Women Affairs Bureau in 1991. Award received by her son on her behalf.
